How Many Sessions You'll Need

Hair grows in cycles, and the laser only affects follicles that are actively growing on the day you're treated. That's why results come from a series rather than a single visit: most clients need 6 to 8 sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, with facial areas often treated on a shorter interval than the body. You'll typically see thinning after the second or third session. Once the course is complete, most people keep their results with occasional maintenance visits.

Preparation & Aftercare

Shave the area 24 hours before your appointment — the laser needs the follicle intact below the surface, but hair above it only causes surface heating. Avoid sun, tanning beds, and self-tanner for four weeks before and after, and stop waxing, plucking, and threading for at least two weeks beforehand. Afterward, expect mild redness and slight bumps around the follicles for a day or so; keep the area moisturized, wear SPF 30 or higher, and skip hot showers, saunas, and hard workouts for 48 hours.
